LMMS Open Source Digital Audio Workstation

LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio) is an Open Source Digital Audio Station (DAW) released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPLv2). LMMS was originally released in 2004 or 13 years ago under the name Linux MultiMedia Studio.

LMMS is now available for seveal operating system, including GNU / Linux, OpenBSD, OS X and Windows. And LMMS this requires at least a 1 GHz computer spesification, 512 MB RAM and a two channel sound card. LMMS is built and written from C++ programming language. And now LMMS is available for up to 20 languages.

LMMS can import audio in OGG Vorbis, FLAC and Wav audio file formats, and export audio in OGG Vorbis and WAV audio file formats.

The LMMS project fies are in MMPZ MMPZ or MPPZ file compression format.

LMMS can write and read customized presets and themes. The preset is in an XML file format, and the theme is in the CSS file format. You can make your own music easly with the main features of LMMS.
